RV Sunshade Company

Monday - 2 February 2004 - Palm Springs, California: We left Mexico with my folks. They headed to Arizona and we headed towards home. (No one ever moved into the spot they had to move from either!)

We had an appointment in Palm Springs. The purpose for our visit to Palm Springs is complete! We are here to have sun shades added to the front windows of our coach. The shades protect your dash, leather chairs and upholstery from sun fading and damage, and also keep the motorhome cooler. A great plus to the shades is that they also provide complete privacy - we can see out, but passersby can't see in. Which is helpful, as we do so much top-secret-stuff in our camper! They snap-on and snap-off in just a minute (but unless you are Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, you will need a ladder). When stored, the sun shades must be rolled (not folded), and a quick spray with a hose will easily clean the sun shades!

We had an appointment first thing this morning with Craig from RV Sunshade Company. He arrived in a van complete with portable table, sewing machine and all the tools he would need to make our sun shades. It took him about three hours to make our sun shades. Craig even provides little covers for the windshield wipers, to stop the blades from drying-out in the blistering sun! We are quite pleased with the work and recommend the RV Sunshade Company if you are in need of sunglasses for your coach.

Note: Years later, we have never had one problem with our sunshades. They have been taken-off and put-onto our wind screen countless times - perfect condition and they look as good as new.
