Louise's Pantry
Friday | 9 February 2007 | Indio, California:
Today we had a great breakfast at Louise's Pantry in La Quinta.
This local favorite serves breakfast all day and features overly-tanned
geriatric waitresses in short-shorts.

You will likely find a group of
golfers, a local family and a few retired couples seated in the giant green
booths at Louise's Pantry - the restaurant is a favorite with tourists
and locals alike. Famous for delicious omelets and "breakfast served all day".
Service is good, your food is delivered promptly, prices are reasonable and
portions are huge. A signature dish, Louise's Omelet, is made with three
eggs, avocado, tomato and Monterey jack cheese. Lox & bagels, breakfast
burritos, egg Benedict and chicken fried steak are other popular breakfast
items. Burgers, sandwiches and salads are also offered, but the dinner menu at
Louise's Pantry is filled with old-fashioned favorites: meatloaf, turkey
and stuffing, pan fried chicken, stuffed peppers, sautéed baby beef liver,
corned beef and cabbage, chicken and dumpling, and pork chops. Beer and wine,
credit cards accepted, vegetarian options, children's menu and early-bird
specials.
